It was formulated as a face soap to help with acne and it sure lived up to that calling but it also works wonders removing blackheads and sucking the general nastiness of day right out of your skin while not leaving you feeling dry. We quickly found that it is a heaven sent wonder for the awful acne that can plague the back and chest areas too and seems to help heal breakouts faster. But what surprised us most is when customers came back to buy bar after bar because they LOVE using it as a whole body bar! We started using the charcoal soap for my teenage daughter. We had been struggling to find something easy for her to use yet effective. With such young skin, we didn’t want to start on something full of chemicals that her face would become addicted to and eventually immune to. She uses it in the shower each day and uses a warm washcloth each night before bed. It got rid of the blackheads on her nose and the dry patches between her eyebrows. It’s been amazing.
